Dr. O'Loughlin is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only specialty board that certifies plastic surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Along with his laser certification, he is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

After completing his medical doctorate and four-year general surgery residency at St. Louis University, he completed a three-year plastic surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. He finished his training with a one-year fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Microsurgery Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. O'Loughlin has been recognized as a member of the National Registers WHO's WHO In Executives & Professionals.  The WHO's WHO publication recognizes excellence and outstanding achievement in businesses & professionals throughout North America.

Mary Ann Fetterly RN, CPSN
 

Mary Ann is Dr. O'Loughlin's surgical nurse.  She has extensive experience in the care of plastic and reconstructive surgery patients.  Along with her warm and caring personality, she has spent many years working directly in the field of plastic surgery.  She has successfully fulfilled the requirements which merit the designation of "CPSN" (Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse) after her name.  These include education, practice, and written examination requirements.  
Mary Ann is a valuable asset to the O'Loughlin plastic surgery team.
